Lately, I’ve been thinking about what it really means to build something that lasts.
Not just a business. Not just a project. But work that creates opportunities, opens conversations, preserves knowledge and gives other people room to grow.
A lot of my work has been taking shape across different spaces — technology, education, research, leadership, creativity, governance and community.
Sometimes the connection between these things isn't immediately obvious. But to me, they all come back to one question:
What can we build today that makes tomorrow a little more possible for someone else?
I'm learning that building is not always loud. Some of the most important work happens quietly — developing an idea, having a difficult conversation, writing something down, creating a platform, mentoring someone, or simply deciding not to give up on an idea that matters.
I'm still building. Still learning. Still figuring out what some of these ideas will become.
But I'm becoming more comfortable with the process.
There doesn't have to be a perfect blueprint.
Sometimes you build the first piece, and the rest of the picture reveals itself along the way.
