WHAT I LEARNED IN WORLD PULSE 101 TRAINING

Hello sisters! I am Latoya Hansen from Windhoek, Namibia. I run ASAHEL Safe Haven Hub daycare for 20 children.

I finished World Pulse 101. Here is what I learned:

1. Updating Profile:Edit and update profile, username can be changed, first name is on certificate, if I use my name in bio community can see it. Impact training and certificate, topic tags and region.

2. Reading Stories:Where to click to read stories — Updates, feedback, project etc. Letters, news, interested topics. Encourage story, comments show love, how to save story to read later.

3. Sharing Stories:Click on different stories, speak about it if you like, learn to read on notebook before writing comments. Title, photos, content sensitive, what country story links to, posting to global community, how to save draft and publish.

4. Setting up an Initiative:What Initiative means on World Pulse, Impact journey, community training, women and girls. My Initiative is ASAHEL Safe Haven Hub I support mothers and youth in Otjomuise with skill training and safe care for their children.

5. Posting on Initiative:What has been documented, timely updates, slowly process, the up and down game in months, process, reach out action, ask support, response of training.

Thank you World Pulse! I am ready to grow slowly, even with ups and downs. Every month I will update my Initiative.
